Chanel Matte Collection

Chanel collection is usually a hit or miss for me, but this year I’ve been buying their matte collection which consists of eyeshadows, lipsticks, liquid powder and ink. Clair-Obscure eyeshadow quad is a must have for me because I love its neutral pallet. As for the yellow polish, well, I don’t have this color and it just brightens up my day whenever I  use this. Chanel’s polish is so much better nowadays. When I’m using it, it lasts for 7 days without chipping compared to their previous formula. I’m just hoping that they will change their nail polish brush and make it like Dior.

I was hesitant to buy the Palette Essentielle because it is quite expensive, but after watching @welovecoco / @cyndlekomarovski doing her effortless tips, I’m sold and now own 2 of these. I have to say, it is because of Cyndle that I’m buying these Chanel items. I like her picks and she is so chic.

Now let’s talk about Rouge Allure Collection. Rouge Allure Liquid Powder is my kind of everyday lip product. It is easy to apply and very comfortable. It has a slight scent but surprisingly it doesn’t dry my lips. If you want a better color payoff, Rouge Allure Velvet Extreme is for you. I chose Ideal and Extreme because I like to wear these colors for Fall/Winter. I sometimes use both  liquid powder and Extreme to give that oomph if I wanna feel super extra. I also picked up the Rouge Allure Velvet in Abstrait and Rouge Allure Ink in Serenity. These two pinkish/brown are so beautiful. I struggle when it comes to finding a perfect nude lip product, but lately Chanel has been doing an amazing job in formulating a nude color that is perfect for everyday use.

Left to Right : Rouge Allure Ink in Serenity, Liquid Powders in 956 & 960, Velvet Extreme in Ideal & Extreme and Rouge Velvet in Abstrait.
